The Kickback asked us to create a visualizer for the release of their new single “The Golfer”.
We bought almost every “You’re #1” Precious Moments figure we could find… and then we smashed the hell out of them in my garage.
We also created the single artwork.

Visualizers have many definitions in the music industry. Lyric Videos / Long-Form Narratives / Simple Motion Graphics / Animations created as visual companions to audio streams.
“Sorry I’m sort of rattled, I swear I can be fun. Please don’t mind all the babble, but this dog’s made to hunt.”
(The Golfer) is an acoustic song about a guy that wins The Masters golf tournament and uses his press conference to go on the offensive instead of the typical gratitude route. I wrote it while trying to get labels to open cold call emails about our new record. The music world often feels like the luxury sports world. But at least we got a song out of it. - Billy Yost
